6 Great Fathers Day gift Ideas

So it is almost here and I know I am terrible at finding a gift for my father... but not this year, I did my research and found some great gifts that will make dad happy and not break the bank!

So what would make some good gifts, here are my idea's, in no particular order:

A good Watch

Most men love a stylish new watch, you could look at your dads belt and shoes to decide on a type of watch, or just ask if there's already something on his mind.

A great pair of Shades

My dad loves what he does, and it involves driving around, nothing feels better than throwing on a great pair of sunglasses to block out the glare, and look great while at it.

A quality Beard Trimmer

Now this one isn't for all dads, as not all dads have beards, but those who do usually look after them quite well, a good new beard trimmer will do the trick. See how your dad treats his beard and you will have a good idea of which trimmer to choose.

A Travel Pack (the ManBag)

This one is debatable on its 'Coolness', but men have things too which need to be moved around, we are even living in a world where our cellphones no longer fit in our pockets. There are many types to choose, from a satchel to a backpack, what your dad drags around a lot may indicate what would suit him the best.

A Hammock

There is nothing better than to read a good book in the shade of your backyard tree slowly swinging in a hammock, its one of the best ways to ease off Sundays lunch and catch 40 winks to be well rested and ready for the new week.

An E.D.C. Item or pack

Every Day Carry is an interesting concept, a pack or few items your dad could use on a daily basis, multi tool, pocket knives, torch, little rope, even a whole lot of little tools on a key ring or a flask for that quick nip. Preparedness is the hallmark of any man.

Did these help you find a good gift? Do you have another great gift in mind? Let me know what you think, or what you would add in the comments below.
